Dear Stake Members, 

You may be wondering about opportunities to serve this year around Thanksgiving. As a stake, we are participating in two.

First, we are providing meals for families that need some extra assistance at Kaiser, Sabin, and Traylor Elementary schools again this year. We are planning to provide 80 meals. Participation will be coordinated within each ward so watch for additional information from your ward communication specialist on how to get involved. Consider involving friends and neighbors as well.

Second, we have an opportunity to provide a meal for the First Thanksgiving Event at the African Community Center again this year. We particularly need volunteers to help cook/slice turkeys and provide food items. There are also limited slots to setup and serve that night. If you are willing to help, please sign up here.
