Special 5th Sunday Covenant Path Lesson
This Sunday, while the teachers, parents and adults are in their 5th Sunday Lesson, we will have a special combined lesson about our unique journeys on the Covenant Path, and how Faith, Repentance, Covenants, and the Holy Ghost can help us return home to Jesus. We hope to see your kids in the Primary Room after Sacrament Meeting!
Resurrection Celebration!
April 11 6pm - Begins in the Primary Room
As we prepare for Easter, the Primary is hosting a unique experience for the Ward and our Community-- a celebration of the Resurrection and Life of Jesus Christ, as we walk through Holy Week together. While we won't have an Easter Egg Hunt this year, we will have a special activity for the children to help them connect with what Jesus has done for us! We encourage you to invite friends, family and neighbors to learn, reflect, and feel the Savior's love through this experience. Here is the Ward Event Page for the Resurrection Celebration to share with friends, and RSVP. https://local.churchofjesuschrist.org/en/units/us/co/mcarthur-ranch-ward/events/resurrection-celebration
You may also see other Events you can share with friends, including our Easter Worship, here on the McArthur Ranch Ward Event Page.
Senior Primary is "Valiant"!
The Church officially renamed CTR 7 to Valiant 7! Did you know that all baptized members can give talks and prayers in sacrament meeting? Let us, or the Bishopric know, if your child is interested in giving a Talk or Prayer, we love hearing from the mouths of babes.
Picture of Your Child
To encourage the Primary to bond, we would like to include a small picture of your child in a magnet on the board of the Primary Room, which will be only put up during our Ward's Primary, and stored safely in the cabinet when not in use. We use magnets frequently in Singing Time, and would love a personal touch. Will you let me know if you would not like us to take your child's picture during Primary?
We love you, and we love, love your kids. We pray for you constantly. We miss you when we're apart, and we feel so much joy seeing your families grow.

Scripture of the Month
Children recite this scripture in Primary together every Sunday for the month. If they would like to memorize the scripture, they can recite it to the Bishop after Church for a treat!

Children & Youth Guidebook
(for children ages 8-11 in 2025)
We are eager to support families as they guide their children in their home-centered, personal development centered in Jesus Christ!
With Jesus Christ as our focus, the Holy Ghost will inspire us as parents and families in a balanced approach to growth in all aspects of our lives (intellectual, spiritual, physical, social and more).
Our children and community can thrive when we share our gifts, grow together, and support each other through inspired ministering and genuine care.
We as parents can model to our children that growth is an iterative process patterned after how "Christ grew in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man." (Flexibility!)
We will help children share and develop their interests and gifts through both activities and lessons; connect more with parents to reinforce home centered teaching and share resources; and minister and care for the kids in creative ways shared today. Keep those comments and creative ideas coming, you know your kids best!
We invite you to continue the cycle of growth regularly:
Reflect. Discuss with your child the Children and Youth Guidebook as a pattern for progress.
Discover. Commit yourself to setting goals in the 4 areas along with your family, to set an example of continually growing in areas of both strength and weakness (eternal progression, right?).
Plan. Create a plan for working on and following up on your goals as a family. Be flexible and adjust!
Act. Engage others in supporting your family goals, and support others by sharing your unique gifts.
Repeat!
Tip: Print out the worksheet below to help your child review their Strengths, Goals and progress!
To support what you do at home, ask your children: What would be most helpful from your parents? From your leaders? Who else can help you? How can we support each other as a community?
